PSN makes Sunday Times top 100 for third year running

Production Services Network (PSN), the international energy services company headquartered in Aberdeen has, for the third consecutive year, been named one of the top 100 companies to work for in the UK by the Sunday Times. PSN was the only energy services contractor to make the prestigious list.

Established in 2006, PSN was this year ranked 84 overall in the list. This was down from the company’s place at 79 in 2009 yet proves that, despite the challenging economic climate of the last year, the company ensured its people still remained at the heart of the business.

These awards are voted for by a company’s employees so the accolade serves as an indication of the continued satisfaction of the workforce.

Peter Brown, UK Managing Director of PSN said:

“To qualify as one of the top 100 best companies in the UK to work for is real honour. To have achieved this three years in a row, despite only being established in 2006 is an outstanding achievement.

“We have worked very hard since our inception to ensure employee selection, development and engagement are top priorities and this has delivered tangible benefits for us. It is no accident that we have maintained an employee retention rate of around 95% per year.  This equates to about 0.5% of our employees leaving the company for any reason each month, which is particularly impressive given that 2009 was a challenging year for the sector. I want to thank everyone at PSN for continuing to make our company such a fantastic place to work.”
